Myth #2: Hustle = Success

We glorify busyness.
We wear exhaustion like a badge of honour.
“If I grind harder, I’ll finally get ahead.”
“If I stay late, people will see I’m committed.”
“If I never rest, success will respect my sacrifice.”
Sounds noble. But here’s the punchline:
Hustle without direction is just motion.
I’ve met people sprinting on treadmills that go nowhere.
Burning energy. Losing joy.
For what? Another checkbox? Another deadline?
Rest isn’t the enemy of success.
Distraction is.
The truth:
You don’t need more hustle.
You need more clarity.
Because clarity makes hard work efficient.
And efficiency beats exhaustion every time.
Reflection:
Where are you mistaking busyness for progress?
And what’s the one thing that would actually move the needle if you stopped sprinting in circles?
